Multiple Munch's Salome pictures shows a head of the painter tied up in Woman's hair. Salome is his Mistress, he is giving his head to Her, he is giving Her his life for the slightest touch of Her hairs, for fleeting happiness of that one moment, brief moment of connection, moment of pleasure that should last forever. Munch IS a poet of masochism.
