 The original 'Betty and Veronica' comic book series were published by Archie Comics from 1950 to 1987, when the series was restarted. It is dealing with 'normal life' of high-school teenagers and both, stories and drawings carefully avoid all controversial topics. But still, some inspiring 'funny' front pages can be found.

Femdom in Comics - Fox Feature Syndicate Part 1

Fox Feature Syndicate comic book publisher was active from late 1930s till mid 1950th. With over 100 different titles Fox covered a wide variety of genres from humor and superheroes to horror and crime comics books. The company also published many romance comics books. None of them is screaming 'Femdom', but there is a couple of covers interesting for Femdom enthusiasts.

Scott Wilson's Femdom Cartoons

In March 1994 CCC Publishing published first edition of the Scott Wilson's book 'Things You can do with a useless man' with following text on he back cover:

At last! For all these Women searching for fulfillment in Their relationships, a book bursting with ideas for things you can do with your man. This practical guide will change your life.

The book was quite successful and two years later there was a sequel 'More things You can do with a useless man':

Like many other 'funny' and ironic cartoons handling power exchange in 'normal' relationship, it succeeded to describe masochistic phantasies very well. Both books are long out of print - what a shame!

Femdom pictograms (Chicks Rule)

Every year Sellers Publishing comes out with a new wall calendar called 'Chicks Rule'. Every year we get 12 new hilarious pictures of all the different ways Girls dominate the boys. The pictograms are supposed to be funny - go ahead Girls, sit back and have the laugh - 'the battle of the sexes' is over, the Chicks won!

But these pictograms are pure Femdom advertising, showing all different aspects of Ds relationship. Widely popular among Femdom minded people all around the globe, these pictograms are also available as magnets, posters, metal wallet cases, metal wall signs, key chains, iron on patches, t-shirts, and all other crap our entertainment business invented to recycle all good and not-so-good ideas. But in this case I am saying Yes, Girls wanna have fun - boys are here to serve You, show the way!

Femdom in Comics - Timely Comics

Timely Comics (1939-1950), predecessor of Marvel Comics, published a couple of ongoing romance/humor titles in mid forties aimed at Female readers. The output is rather uninteresting for Femdom enthusiasts, but some covers worth mentioning:

A Date with Judy was comedy radio series (1941-1950), a major picture movie with Elizabeth Taylor (1948), a television series (1951-1953) and of course, a comic book (1947-1960). Published bi-monthly by National Periodical Publications there were 79 issues. Most of the covers are pretty dull, but some of them quite openly deal with Female Domination aspects of young couple's relationship. It is meant to be funny and not sexual, but instead it perfectly describes many masochistic phantasies.
