The Source

i have received a couple of questions about source/author of the latest picture on the blog. It has been used by (and created for) Belmont's edition of Bed of an Empress story by Sacher-Masoch. First edition has been published in 1964 and identical reprint was made by the same publisher in 1968. Author of the cover art is most probably Victor Kalin (1919-1991), a very successful, skilled and flexible illustrator. He created a lot of brilliant paper book covers, but unfortunately this one is his only pure 'femdom' work. The book has been also reprinted in UK by Richmond Hill Printing in 1965 with different, and much less attractive, cover. For the blog i just cleaned up the cover to make it text and wear marking free and tweeted the colors and sharpness a little bit... so bad the original Kalin's picture is not available...
